Content

The content collections are what power the public-facing side of the congress — the website pages, news posts, and the building blocks that make them up. While the operational collections (sessions, abstracts, attendees) manage the congress itself, the content collections manage what people see when they visit.

There are three main collections in this area:

• Pages — the individual pages that make up the site, each built from a flexible arrangement of content sections
• Posts — news items and announcements published with a date and listed chronologically
• Blocks — the reusable content sections that pages are composed from

These three work together. A page is essentially a container for blocks. Blocks are the actual content — a banner, a block of text, a grid of images. Posts stand alone as time-based entries.
