Getting Started

Access & Roles

User roles and permission policies in the APOA Congress admin platform.

Access & Roles

Access to features is controlled by policies assigned to your Admin Dashboard user account. Each policy grants access to one or more sections of the platform. Your account may have multiple policies.

If you navigate to a page you do not have a policy for, you will see a "Not authorised" message and be redirected away.

Requesting access

Contact your system administrator to have a policy added to your account. Policies are managed inside the Admin Dashboard under Settings → Access Control.

Your profile

You can view your profile at any time from the navigation. The profile page links your Admin Dashboard login to a Person record in the congress database, which gives you your committee positions and session assignments.

If your profile is not linked, use the "Link Profile" button and search for your name to connect your account.
