Creating Campaigns
How to create and send an email campaign.
Creating Campaigns
Step 1 — Campaign details
Click New Campaign in the navigation to start. You will be asked to fill in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Campaign name | Internal name only — not shown to recipients |
| Subject line | The email subject the recipient sees in their inbox |
| Preview text | The short snippet shown below the subject in inbox previews |
| Sender name | The display name emails are sent from (e.g. "APOA Congress") |
| Sender email | The reply-to address (e.g. congress@apoa.org) |
An inbox preview on the right shows how your subject, preview text, and sender will appear in a typical email client as you type.
Click Continue to Design once the details are complete.
Step 2 — Design
The design step opens the email builder where you select or apply an email template. Templates define the visual layout of the email. See Templates for how to manage them.
Step 3 — Recipients
Select the audience for the campaign. Recipients are drawn from congress attendee data.
Step 4 — Send
Review and send the campaign. You can send immediately or schedule for a later time.
