Program Management
The Program section lets you build and manage the full scientific program for the congress. It covers the schedule grid, sessions, breaks, speakers, and room assignments.
Structure
The program is organised as follows:
- Congress Days — each day of the congress has its own schedule
- Schedules — a day can have one or more named schedules (e.g. a draft and a published version)
- Sections — sessions that run within a time block, assigned to a room
- Events — individual presentations or activities within a section
- Breaks — coffee breaks, lunches, and other non-session blocks
Event types
Each event in the program has a type:
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Plenary | Main-stage plenary session open to all delegates |
| Symposium | Focused symposium on a specific topic |
| Workshop | Hands-on workshop, may have an associated price |
| Talk | Individual talk within a session |
| Discussion | Discussion panel or Q&A block |
Navigation
Use the Planner item in the left navigation to access the schedule builder. If the congress has multiple days, each day appears as a sub-item in the menu.
The Section detail view shows the full contents of a single session — its events, assigned speakers, and timing.
