Branding

Overview

Colours, typography, and asset library for a congress's branding.

Branding

The Branding page shows a congress's brand — colours, typography, and downloadable assets. Anyone who can reach the page can view it; editing requires the Branding - Manage policy. It's organised into five tabs, which are linkable directly (e.g. /branding#colors).

Colours

  • Web Colors — the five core brand colours: Primary, Secondary, Accent, Dark, and Light. Click a swatch to copy its hex value.
  • Colour Schemes — named palettes, each a list of colours. Users with manage access can add, edit, or delete a scheme, setting its name and colour rows (each with a picker, hex input, and optional label).

Typography

Two font groups — Heading Font and Body Font — each of which can hold multiple font options. Every font entry shows its family name (rendered live in that font), weight, style, fallback, source, and a link to view it. Click a font to select it for the live preview.

Fonts are read-only on this page — adding or changing them is done in the Admin Dashboard.

Assets

The asset library, grouped by category (e.g. Logos, Favicons, Banners, Social Media, Templates, Print, Icons) with a search box per category. Each asset can have multiple variants — different files or sizes of the same asset, one marked as default.

An asset card shows a preview of its default (or selected) variant, its name and filename, and a variant picker if it has more than one. You can download a single variant, or all of an asset's variants as a zip. A page-level Download All button zips every asset's every variant.

With manage access, you can:

  • Upload Asset — set a name, choose a file, and pick or create a category
  • Add Variant to an existing asset — upload a file, optionally label it, and optionally mark it as the new default

Style Guide

A single downloadable document (e.g. a brand guide PDF) attached to the congress. View-only on this page.

Preview

A live mock hero section built from the current primary/secondary/accent/light colours, the selected heading and body fonts, and the first logo-category asset — useful for a quick sanity check of how the brand looks applied together. It's illustrative only and not editable.
