Overview
Key Dates
The Key Dates page lists important dates and deadlines for the congress — for example, abstract submission deadlines or early-bird registration cutoffs. Viewing the page requires general admin access; adding, editing, or deleting entries requires admin access as well.
The timeline
Key dates are shown as a vertical timeline, always ordered chronologically. A toggle lets you switch the display order between Earliest → Latest and Latest → Earliest. The timeline automatically highlights the most recent date that has already passed, so you can see at a glance where "today" sits relative to the congress calendar.
Each entry shows:
- Title
- Date, and time if one was set
- Description, if provided
- An Internal badge if the date is marked non-public
Adding and editing a key date
Use the overflow menu on an entry to Edit or Delete it, or use the page's add action to create a new one. The form has:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Title | Required |
| Date | Required |
| Time | Optional |
| Description | Optional |
| Public | Toggle — controls whether the date is exposed in the public API. Off marks it as internal-only, shown with an "Internal" badge. Defaults to on. |
Deleting a key date asks for confirmation first, as the action is irreversible.
There's no manual reordering — entries are always shown in date order.
